TechGuide PH: Practical Tech Guides, Tutorials and Troubleshooting Tips for Filipinos

About TechGuide PH

TechGuide PH is an independent technology website that publishes step-by-step guides for everyday computer, phone and internet problems.

What we publish

Our focus is practical instructions rather than news or opinion. Most guides fall into four areas: software and apps, Windows, Android, and internet or connectivity. A typical guide walks through a problem in the order a careful person would actually try to solve it — safest and simplest steps first, more drastic steps last, with a clear warning before anything that can delete data.

Who it is for

We write for general readers in the Philippines: students, office workers, small business owners, freelancers and anyone helping family members with their devices. No prior technical background is assumed. When a technical term is unavoidable, we explain it in the same sentence.

Editorial principles

  • No invented facts. We do not publish statistics, test results, certifications, awards or credentials that we cannot stand behind.
  • No fake social proof. There are no fabricated reviews, testimonials or comments anywhere on this site.
  • Advertising stays separate from content. Ad spaces are labelled "Advertisement" and never styled to look like article links or download buttons.
  • Risk is stated up front. If a step signs you out, resets a setting or removes files, the guide says so before you do it.
  • Corrections are welcome. If something is wrong or out of date, tell us and we will fix it.

How guides are researched and updated

Each guide is written by working through the actual menus and settings described, then checked against the current official documentation for the app or operating system involved. Because software changes often, guides are revised when a step no longer matches what you see on screen. Every article shows the date it was last updated. The content on this site was last reviewed in September 2026 (editable).
